When summer boredom hits, head to the G. William Noble park to do one of these 6 fun activities!
1. Sidewalk chalk
Explore your creative side by using chalk to play hopscotch, foursquare or simply draw pictures.
2. Bubbles
Bubbles are a timeless, inexpensive activity that all ages can enjoy, even younger kids. For even more fun, create and test your own blowing wands!
3. Scavenger hunt
It doesn’t matter what you hide, just have fun with it! You could even have a photo scavenger hunt. This would make for a fun family night or even a couples’ date night!
4. Hide and seek
Don’t underestimate how fun a classic game of hide and seek can be.
5. Have a picnic
Looking for ways to make summer meals special? Pack some cheese, deli meat, crackers, grapes, and some chocolate milk for a fun little picnic at the park. After the meal, you can tell stories, play Pictionary, or snap some polaroid pictures together.
6. Catch fireflies
At the end of a summer day, heading to the park with a couple of mason jars to catch fireflies can be a great way to unwind. There’s something magical about these flying creatures that light up night. Just be sure to release them when you’re finished!
