Kenny Clemons Park
The Kennedy A. Clemons Recreational Complex in Gardendale, Alabama is home to various leisure activities for both adults and children. It includes an outdoor soccer field, a Celebration Park Playground and Pavilion, a Splash Pad, a Dog Park, a Disc Golf Course, and the GUTs hiking trail. Located at 2191 Fieldstown Road, approximately 2 1/2 miles from I-65, this complex was named in honor of the late Kenny Clemons, who served as the Mayor of Gardendale from 1996 to 2008.
Celebration Park
Celebration Park was added to the city in May of 2007. On the 17th of September 2008, the Splash Pad had its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. The Celebration Park and SouthPoint Bank Pavilions can be rented to host events such as birthday parties or family reunions. Click here for information on renting a pavilion.
Soccer Complex
The Farleys, Randy and Sheri, of the Gardendale Soccer Association are the proud founders of well-organized soccer in Gardendale. As a tribute to their efforts, Field 1 at the Gardendale Soccer Complex at Kenneth A. Clemons Recreational Complex was renamed “Farley Field”. This complex features two regulation soccer fields, restrooms, a concession stand, and the adjacent Celebration Park playground and Splash Pad.
