The Gardendale Magnolia Festival is presented by Gardendale Magnolia Festival, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit. The city of Gardendale is the Presenting Sponsor. Kathleen Phillips is the President and Event Coordinator. Our mission is to provide visitors with an economical, family-friendly experience while promoting local businesses, tourism, local arts and culture, and volunteerism in the greater Gardendale area. Each year, the festival awards college scholarships to local high
school seniors and supports local charities. Volunteerism is highly promoted and rewarded at the Gardendale Magnolia Festival. We believe in teaching children the importance of volunteering at an early age. The festival also recognizes two Volunteers of the Year- one student and one adult.
