Since our beginning as a storefront chapel in 1944, Downtown Jimmie Hale Mission, Inc. (more commonly referred to as The Jimmie Hale Mission), has grown considerably over the years to become a multi-faceted ministry with several programs including a homeless shelter for men, a shelter for women and children, after-school Bible clubs, recovery programs, learning centers and fundraising thrift stores.
