Fire Department

With the passage of a City wide tax to provide additional funds for this transition, by 2007, the City of Gardendale Fire and Rescue Service was one of the first 100% full time career firefighter departments in the area. Included in the transition was the employment of a Fire Marshal. Since becoming a career department, the Gardendale Fire Department is now recognized as one of the finest fire and rescue service in the region and strives to uphold a high level of service to our citizens and visitors.
